We have found the holy grail of all millinery petersham! This super rare 38mm (1.49 inch) wide (a.k.a. No.9) millinery petersham ribbon is not only wide, but it also has a moire watermark effect that makes it super shiny and outright AMAZING!

It dates back to around 1950-1980s and has a lovely thickness to it. We dream of pleating it and making the most luscious bows from it! 

Marked 'British Manufacture' it has the signature picot edge that allows for curving with an iron. 

Fiber content is unknown but is most likely a rayon blend as characteristic of petersham of it's time.

Sold by the metre (1.09 yards). Multiple metres purchased will arrive as one long, lovely, continuous piece!
